Another successful bank mediation took place between a couple- borrowers and a Bank holding a consumer loan of 200,000 euros.
The couple had appealed to the Katseli law, but unfortunately their application was rejected because of a fraud that has been going on lately.
The lawyer and accredited mediator Anna Korsanou suggested to the couple the mediation process in order to settle their debt.
In fact, after processing their request for two months, the mediation took place, which lasted seven hours in the presence of the parties, their lawyers, observers and the accredited mediator, and finally after negotiations and emotionally charged atmosphere an arrangement was reached that included 48% write-off of the loan and an installment arrangement for 18 years.
